Alhamdulillah, all perfect praise is due to Allah alone. The Lord who has made His chosen religion's teachings so perfect. He has made Hajj a beautiful, impactful, and touching form of worship. The Tawaf, Sa’i, and Wuquf carry profound messages for all who perform them. May we be granted the opportunity to be His guests in Arafah. Amin.

May blessings and peace always be bestowed upon the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ibn Abdillah. The Prophet who intricately, wisely, and sagely instructed the rituals of Hajj. May we always strive to follow his ways. Amin.

The Hajj pilgrimage, besides being the fifth pillar of Islam, is a practice that not everyone is familiar with. It involves a set of rituals known as 'manasik,' distinct from other forms of worship. Moreover, this act of worship can only be performed in Mecca and Arafah-Mina, nowhere else, and its timing is very limited.

In addition, this pilgrimage is typically carried out only once in a lifetime. Consequently, many pilgrims do not have a good understanding of it. Therefore, a guide that simplifies the process is necessary.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs as the organizer of Hajj has taken numerous steps to educate and support Indonesian pilgrims in performing this sacred duty. One of these efforts is the creation of a 'manasik' guidebook.

This guidebook printed by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs is distributed to all Indonesian Hajj participants. It is meticulously crafted by a team assembled by the Ministry and undergoes revisions almost every year.

In this digital age, the Hadith Studies Center has initiated the digitalization of the Ministry's 'manasik' guidebook into a web and Android format. It can be accessed and installed for free. For this purpose, personally and verbally, Dr. Ahmad Lutfi Fathullah, MA, Director of the Hadith Studies Center, has sought permission and support from the Director of Hajj and Umrah Affairs in Mina in 2012, who has granted approval. Drs Lukman Saifuddin Zuhri, Minister of Religious Affairs, has also been informed by PKH and has extended support.
